Correctly repairing a pitch mark is as simple as:

  • Start at the back of the mark and push forward with your ball repairer (avoid the use of tees or keys)
  • Use the repairer around all sides and slowly ease turf toward the centre of the mark. Do not lift the soil upwards this only brings the soil to the surface and largely affects the root system.
  • Lastly, flatten by gently tapping the surface using your foot or the sole of your putter.

Riverside Open - 25th & 26th May

25th & 26th of May. Men's and Ladies 36 hole and daily 18 hole graded competition.  Members can book through One Golf everyone else will need to contact the club on (03) 5023 4255.  (Seeded groupings on Sunday).  To be eligible for 36 hole prizes you must pay the entry fee of $45 on the Saturday, there is also a daily competition with a $20 entry fee. Mens competiitions will be A-Grade (10 maximum handicap), B Grade (11-18 handicap) and C Grade (19 minimum handicap). Womens grades will depend on the number of entries.
